Tucked away in Truro's Nalder's Court is Opium, a French-style boutique offering a unique collection of clothing, gifts and accessories exclusive to Cornwall and in some cases to the UK!
When setting up Opium in April 2006, founder, Poppy, aimed to create a boutique for the contemporary woman who was looking for a fresh approach to fashion and shopping. She travelled to France to find an eclectic mix of stylish and sassy clothing.
Autumn has most definitely arrived here at Opium where we are filled with the most scrumptious delights for your wardrobe! From the chunky knitwear of Odd Molly and Avoca, to the beautifully feminine tweeds and delicate cashmere knits of Marilyn Moore along with the most divine silk print dresses and tops from new labels Elizabeth Lau and Casimira.
We've had our Autumn delivery from Lowie - hats, scarves and gloves in soft soft lambswool, angora and merino in an array of cheerful colours that would brighten up any miserable winters day! Not to mention the Avoca waterproof macs and matching wellies- if they can't cheer you up nothing will!
We've also just received our first collection of Orla Kiely clothing and DAY by Birger et Mikkelsen- both brand new labels for Opium and truly just too tempting!
Boxes are arriving daily and the collection really is flying out already so if you don't make it to Opium soon you may well miss out on the goodies! xxxx
