Ursula & Odette is a destination fashion boutique offering a selection of the latest international brands sourced from around the world, all superbly merchandised, using antique dressmaking dummies, reclaimed cinema seats and haberdashery counters.
The store staff have superb product knowledge, offering customers styling suggestions that range from a capsule collection to sourcing the perfect outfit with an odd sneak preview of a new collection for the 'Cognoscenti'. Nothing is ever too much trouble, with some customers preferring to make out of hours trips to the store to preview each season's collections.
The shop is an attraction in itself with rich dark wood floors and pale walnut walls, intricate wall moldings, ceiling cornices and Chinnoiserie wallpaper in the changing room area. Delicate floral notes of Francois Hardy echo the relaxed, 'laissez-faire' attitude.
Inspired by Paris and New York, the owners have an eye for detail, having successfully created a utopian homage to modern chic. Beyond the fashion rails, Ursula & Odette also offers a bespoke antique service with many collectables and antiques on display throughout the shop, all of which are for sale.
